A Local Partner
As a long-term owner and operator, not just a developer, we know the importance of building trust and long-lasting relationships with the people who live and work around our parks. In London and the South East, Prologis have invested over £1.9bn over the past decade. Prologis owns 6.9m sq. ft of industrial and logistics space in the region worth £2.6bn, with land to deliver a further 2.5m sq. ft of space and £1.3bn investment in the region. Over 5,000 people work in Prologis buildings across London and The Home Counties in a diverse range of roles. In 2024/25, Prologis customers in the Epping Forest area paid £4.8m in business rates whilst those in London and the Home Counties paid £51m in business rates, generating £30m of retained business rate revenue for local authorities.

IMPACT DAY 2023

Prologis’ IMPACT Days
Net Zero Commitment
Prologis has made a commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040; this commitment has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In the UK, all new Prologis buildings will achieve EPC A+, which means they are net zero for regulated energy use. We also target a BREEAM Outstanding rating.

Prologis is driven to achieve sustainable growth through partnership, underpinning local inward investment and developing beyond net zero developments that foster innovation and bolster the UK economy.

Every year, Prologis employees around the world engage in the company’s annual IMPACT day. In 2023, Prologis UK held their IMPACT day to improve the Church Pool Covert, part of Tame Valley Wetlands at the Hams Hall Environmental studies centre, by installing two bridges, restoring pathways, building an outdoor learning space, and adding new seating. These efforts, which prioritised recycled and sustainable materials, enhanced community access and protected local wildlife.
